Pawsitive CanineChoosing A Dog Trainer

If you don't get training services from me, get some help somewhere. Here are a few helpful hints in finding a trainer that suits you best:

Ask to see their dog. If a trainer doesn't have their own companion, they likely won't have the love and compassion for dogs that you want them to have if they were to train your dog. Notice the obedience their dog has, because if they can't adequately handle their dog, how can they possible train you and your dog!

A genuine love of and devotion to dogs. When you find a trainer with this important quality you'll know it. The joy of living and working with dogs makes this person shine.

Good teaching and communication skills. Trainers who have this gift make the learning process quicker, easier and more enjoyable for their students.
